This is the final installment of the story! It was much much much longer than I intended, but that simply means that I enjoyed myself. I'll clean up the whole thing and post it as one document for those of you that haven't kept up with us throughout the month and want to read it in one sitting.

Once again, thanks for all you do, and all the support you've given me. I love you all so much. You're incredible.

One Month Later …

Grace stepped slowly down the staircase as the crowd applauded. She recognized several of the faces in the crowd, though she doubted they recognized her. Her transformation hadn’t been slow. Comfy and professional clothes were gone. Everything was tight and thin. Everything was skin and sheer. Even in this cold, she had nothing to hide.

She kept her glasses though. Girls loved her glasses.

Though perhaps a flicker of recognition showed on their faces. She’d chosen the sexy librarian look, though her sweater was a crop top with plenty of underboob showing. Her pencil skirt was short, barely worth mentioning. She was all stockings and garters, heels and glasses, bun and lipstick. She was each person’s fantasy of poise gone wild. She was each client’s teacher or librarian or nanny willing to pull her hair loose and grind on their lap for the right price.

Though technically, the price didn’t matter to Grace. Reyna set the prices, and Grace didn’t see a dime. She was paying off her debt to Reyna, dance by dance, client by client, night after night. How long had she been a virgin? Almost thirty years. That’s a lot of time to pretend she wasn’t a complete slut. She owed decades of her life to Reyna, and she paid it off little by little each night on stage.

As Grace approached the pole, the familiar music washed over the crowd. It seized them, all of their breath coming up short as the liquid bass washed over them. She’d spoken with Reyna at length about what kind of performance she would do. She didn’t want to simply strip. She wanted to give her audience an experience. She wanted them to transcend, to find something deeper than tits and ass swaying on stage.

She wanted to give them what she had discovered the first night she came here, the moment of losing herself in Reyna’s eyes, the moment of inhibitions - of thought itself - disappearing as she watched Esmerelda’s body sway in the light.

That was the reason for the first of many piercings. Her nipples were pierced with gold bars. Her navel piercing dangled with a small piece of amber in it, swinging back and forth as she danced. That was Grace’s stage name now, Amber. The stage and club were washed in amber light, as she tried to use her body and the music to lure them all into Reyna’s eyes with her.

The other piercings were small, mostly her ears. One for each performance. The biggest and best was to come tonight. It was ambitious, but instead of being afraid, Amber was excited. Eager even.

Her clothes came off easily. The stripping was never a focus of her act. Sure, some of the men in the crowd cared about how slowly she took it off, and most of them lost interest once she was naked. But she wasn’t here for the men. She wasn’t here for any of them really. She knew that upstairs, sitting at one of the balconies, Reyna was watching. She knew that Esmerelda was sitting next to her, taking notes. Reyna enjoyed seeing Grace fall away and Amber emerge. Esmerelda took notes on how Amber could improve her act.

Her act was all she thought about recently. It was easier than answering the dozens of phone calls each day from her parents or former clients. She couldn’t go home or back to her office anymore. They were waiting for her there. Some annoying reported wanted to interview her. Badly. Even after Esmerelda dropped the charges and Reyna dropped the suit, there were still rumors. There were still cases she abandoned that needed cleaning up. Instead, she slept at the club and dove into her act.

She didn’t like the term dancer because she wasn’t much of one. Esmerelda was  dancer. Candy and Baby were dancers. Kitty? Holy fuck. She was a dancer. But Amber wasn’t much of one. Esmerelda reminded her often of how shitty her dancing was. Amber was a performer, and as such, her act wanted to say something. She wanted to create something.

She mentioned the idea casually to Reyna, but her Mistress loved it. She pushed it, bringing in Esmerelda and a dozen other artists and experts to help her with it. Suddenly, Amber had a sound and lighting engineer helping her. She had a professional piercer at her disposal. She had the prime time slot on stage. Reyna bought advertisements. She invited Amber’s friends, family, clients, and contacts. It was going to be the biggest thing yet. The past few weeks were rehearsals, little previews. But tonight was the real thing. The finale.

She wanted to take them into Reyna’s eyes. Each of them. Her body was streaked with gold paint haphazardly, and she added glitter where she could. Not everywhere, but enough that when the yellow light caught her body, caught her piercings and hair and the paint and the glitter, the whole room would be washed in amber. Everyone’s eyes would be filled with the light, like they were filled with Reyna’s eyes.

And she filled the room with music. The same music that Reyna played in her bedroom when Esmerelda danced for her. She had worked with friends of hers - rivals, she called them - and had them tweak the music, adding subliminals where they could. It was thick music, the kind that buzzes past your ear and deep into your mind, the kind you can still hear when you close your eyes before you fall asleep, the kind that makes everything feel like a dream. It was slow, and so Amber was slow. She moved with deliberate poise, swaying her hips as Esmerelda had done, rolling her stomach. She did everything she could to draw attention to her navel piercing.

Amber wanted her act to create an experience, so she decided on the most powerful she experience she knew: she recreated being drawn into Reyna’s eyes in her bedroom. She recreated the music and the light. She recreated the trance and the hips. She copied Esmerelda’s piercings religiously. She did everything she could to lure the audience in as she was lured. To seduce them to Reyna as she was seduced. She wanted them all to stop fighting, to surrender as she did.

After half an hour, her body glistened with sweat. All of it made her shine. All of it drew the eye. Her audience was captivated. They were hers. She looked through the crowd, making eye contact with those she recognized as she danced: Megan, he college roommate. Yesenia, her first client. Mr. Tanner, her landlord. Professor Simms, her favorite professor. Her mother. Cynthia, her best friend. All of them watched, not sure why they were there, not sure why they didn’t get up and leave, not sure what they were watching. But they watched. They didn’t pull their eyes away as the light danced over Amber’s skin.

Then Hector came onto the stage. At first the crowd thought he was a spectator that was overcome with lust, but then they saw his bag. This was the trickiest part of the performance. She couldn’t break the spell. She had practiced with Esmerelda on this part over and over again. She was still learning the principles of belly-dancing, but keeping her torso dancing while her legs were still was paramount. She spread her legs wide and kept the gem at her navel swaying. She twisted her arms and caught the light over her chest. She did everything she could to keep their eyes on her, their eyes on the light.

In the past performances, some people got upset. Some stormed out and left, but Reyna told her not to worry. She said they were never hers if one small distraction lured them away. Those worth keeping would stay. Those that burned with lust and curiosity would want to know what came next.

Hector prepared the piercing, sterilizing it and the needle once more, just to be safe. Amber sat on the chair she used in her performance, spreading her legs wide. Now the audience locked in on Hector, on what the dark skinned man was doing. Some people gasped when they saw the needle, but not those that belonged to Reyna, not those that Amber had lured in.

Amber held her breath as Hector checked if she was ready. The audience held their breath with her. She nodded, letting him know to begin. He carefully separated the hood of her clit from the gland, making sure for the third time that there was enough room, even as her clit swelled with lust. They had decided on a vertical piercing because Reyna liked the look and Amber liked whatever Reyna liked.

All around them, the music built. The needle hovered, but the music demanded more. The lights pulsed slowly, drawing each eye to the metal that would make love to Amber. Flesh. Metal. Flesh. Some were disgusted. It didn’t matter. Some loathed Amber. It didn’t matter. Some still thought of her as Grace. It didn’t matter. None of it mattered. Amber bit her lip, excited for this one, the big one, to happen in front of all those that formerly respected her.

All that mattered was the light, Reyna’s light. It would wash over her body, and she would reflect it for all to see. She glittered like gold for them. When they saw her, they weren’t seeing Grace Laurence. They weren’t seeing Amber the Performer. They were seeing the light caught in their eyes. They were seeing Reyna. Those that rejected her would leave disturbed, but those trapped in it like Grace would come up to the stage afterwards, all begging for Hector to pierce them, all begging to reflect the light.

Flesh. Metal. Flesh.

The music stopped, and the world went white. The pain was only a moment, and then there was nothing but pleasure.
