Now that Synapse has removed Soma, she is free to rule the world. She has one obvious limitation that Soma noticed: Synapse can't manipulate everyone on the planet. That means she needs to consolidate power by ensnaring the most powerful people on the planet: supers. Once she controls almost every super on the planet, she can take over the rest. 

But not all supers are owned yet. A small few are leading a rebellion, trying to stop her. Aurora Flight may be broken, but the world can resist. The world can survive.
