Funny enough, you guys mentioning that Jinwoo hopping like that was kind of reminiscent of Goku was correct. At least from what I’ve heard (I’m an anime only for solo leveling) him doing that wasn’t actually in the manwha and was put in the anime afterwards as a tribute to Akira Toriyama’s passing.

This is a long time ago so you probably won’t see this, but in case you do I’m filling in a bit of lore gap. Jinwoo couldn’t just turn down the mission from the Hunter’s Association. Or at least,he would have to accept one soon. The Association has a 3 strikes and you’re out deal. If you turn down 2 (or maybe 3?) missions in a row, you lose your membership. Jinwoo needs it as they pay for his family’s health insurance. Plus a lot of his area’s association hunters were wiped out in the double dungeon, so they need help.

Fun fact: In the Manhwa one of the prisoners wasn't actually dead. Jinwoo dragged him into the boss room and let the boss and the ads devour him alive.
