So, fun fact : apparently, in the manga, the dragon fight scene was only 3 or 4 panels long. Meaning they had to work without a lot of source material to make it this long in the anime. The amount of work and love that was put in this entire anime is incredible, and it shows with how it's been sitting at the top of best anime of all time since its release.

Frieren gets a spell to make shaved ice yet none of them have any syrup, more spell hunting for Frieren. Frieren thinks she has it made two years till the checkpoint opens, a city full of magic shops, grimoires to read and a comfy bed at the inn to sleep inside out of the cold and rain and hard ground, and then she gets found out as the elf mage of the heroes team. A quick parade through town to the gates, shuffled outside to the cheers and best wishes of the townsfolk as they shut the gates closed with Frieren's group on the outside.

Dammit! I'd be pissed haha! Need to learn those syrup spells asap! I'm with Frieren, gotta have that comfy bed!

I am in awe of every episode when we watch it. A lot of times it has me at a loss for words because I'm just staring at how beautiful it is haha!!

I think I remember someone pointing out that the dragon scene was exactly as long as the 30 seconds or so Frieren said he needed to buy her. Pretty cool.

That's rad! I love that!

Yeah, Stark "doesn't have a lot of time" specifically because Eisen is old and he wants to make it back to tell him stories of his adventures before the old dwarf dies. There's nothing, as far as we know, that is shortening Starks life. But, as he said, Eisen probably has quite a few years left in him still.

The first season of Frieren contains in fact 28 episodes and the second season its suppose to starting to drop on January 2026 only on Crunchyroll.

What can one say? She judged his capabilities well.

Many days tinted in fairy tale scenes Have arrived at the end, proof we have seen I cut out and choose from a trip so long A little passage I review Tale of what's taken place right on this field Shadows of manifested pain and woe There was a hero who took out all foes A little-journey memory with you No more pages left in that story Our hero goes into slumber, deep Leaving behind a veil of peace for all Saving the dwellers of this land The flow of time erases without mercy And erodes all memories and hues Even the traces left in life are now rusting as time ensues And yet, I keep all your hopes All the words and wishes, courage you owned Still dwell inside me, and even now in my heart Keep living through Odyssey we shared, on the same path And nothing more to that So it should have been, but suddenly I was wondering All those tears rolling down my cheeks Why do they come out and fall? I wanna find out And still even right now, if I engage in the journey we went about again Though I am no longer walking next to you One day, I know I'll find the truth And now that story unfolds into a journey that, alone, I set out to I meet the locals of every town I stop in They all are recalling the person that you were Unwavering kindness is spoken of you Acting all cool in everything you'd do Here and there, we can find scattered symbols around Manifesting battle we won for peace source: https://www.animesonglyrics.com/sousou-no-frieren/yuusha-english-ver

This is where the story really feels like it’s starting in retrospect, can’t wait to see y’all’s reaction!

There was such effort put into this scene, enough for me to think that it was one of the best-portrayed illustrations of the difference in size, therefore perceived strength, between two opponents in anime. Yet it was a false perception, which made the impact of the scene all the greater. And then to learn, the animators weren't forced to do it, they did it to make the scene even better.

I’m doing my catch up since work went 20 hours reviews. So freaking glad you’re doing Frieren. It’s awesome. Next season should be stellar bc it’s the best arc so far. If you’re open to non anime, the wheel of time (Amazon prime). It is excellent. Similar to Frieren; powerful and old old old master, kids slowly learning to appreciate her.

Frieren has been incredible so far! It's becoming one of my favorite anime right now!
