And this is it. The moment that killed me. Stout guardian. A great shielder exclusive skill (what was said when Maple got it) is given to Paine, who doesn't use a shield. If we got info that he has played since the start, sure I could see them changing how people get it but letting whoever got it keep it. But no. He just, has it.

Great season. :-) Definitely watch season 2. To me it's just as good. I hope they make a season 3 some day. I'm really going to have to start reading manga regularly to make up for when anime don't finish the story.

I know that season 2 has kind of divided the fanbase a bit (different pace, different budget which shows in some animation sequences that are... not as good at all), but to me it's still very good and as interesting as the first season. Plus, it's always fun to watch the kind of skills Maple unlocks.

So now I can say the party at the end is my favorite scene. It is just like Maple to bring her "enemies" to the party her guild is throwing. She just has fun and makes friends. Even ones that nearly defeat her. She doesn't care if they find out something about her stats or anything like that because she now has more friends and they can have fun together. So that is why that scene makes me giggle whenever I see it. Now season 2 of Bofuri. There are still more surprises in store for you both.

I still loved Season 2. You get to see lots of really weird things happen and some strange friendships.

It does, but it has no logic for being there. The logic on the skill is that it's a great shielder exclusive. Why was that put there if it's just going to be ignored

A suggestion for another anime that features the main characters spending a lot of time in an online game. Watch "And You Thought There is Never a Girl Online?" on Crunchyroll. Its more ROM/COMish silly then even Bofuri. But definitely watch the second season of Bofuri.

For real, I loved the party scene. The fact that Maple realizes it's just a game and is meant to be played and have fun with friends is one of her biggest strengths, outside of her wacky defense stat ha. I believe that's another big draw of why this show is so good to me, Maple is such a pure character with good intentions all around.
