Also I (Madison) said 30 seconds cos the bad guy has a thought acceleration element so his cognitive awareness is extended ("use that extra time" as ole boy said)

**Nothing Spoilery Below** The spell Rimuru used (Megiddo) is pretty clever really - as it was using those slime lenses to fire beams of sunlight which were extremely powerful, and since it was a real world physical phenomenon, it could work within the anti-magic barrier and magic couldn't block it, Great Sage was just doing the aiming. This is actually one of the few times a Season 1 OVA can provide extra information as there were two Ova's which provided backstory about Shizue and this Demon. It's not required but might be good to watch on your own for additional background (the other two ova's are fan-service with a beach episode and the like) Everyone hears Words of the World when they receive a new skill, but only Rimuru has Great Sage/Raphael (Great Sage just used Words of the World's voice because it was available and allows it to respond to Rimuru)

Slime always has a long build up to the good stuff. There will be more this season and it happens again in season 3. The pay off is usually worth it, though.
