Getting ready to watch it - hope you guys liked it and stick with it - Made in Abyss is truly art, not pleasant, but rewarding - the best way I've seen the Abyss described is as "Uncle Lovecraft's Fun Time Murder Hole" 😝

AnimeDateNight

just rewatching that scene when syncing the videos up for patreon had madison crying again.

The movie "Dawn of the Deep Soul" is next and involves Bondrewd, and then Season 2 is next. I'm glad you guys liked it, or is a truly emotional show. I've watched it dozens of times and it still makes me tear up with the little sounds Mitty made with her stuffed animals 🥹

Oh boy this is a surprise, can't wait to see the ep 13 reaction!

AnimeDateNight

we don't know which is more painful, this ep or the third/fourth ep of FMAB.

Believe it or not, Bondrewd is probably the most popular character. If Made In Abyss had a popularity contest he would probabaly win quite easily. I guess we Made In Abyss fans just really like insane scienstist. Though Nanachi might get close too as she's also very popular. The Movie explores Bondrewd more and shows just how well writen he is so it's definitely a must watch.

Bondrewd is probably my favorite anime villain of all time just because of how instantly hate-able he is. he is easily one of the most vile characters out there when you consider that most of his victims are kids he manipulates. Also in case no one mentioned it, the movie "Dawn of the Deep Soul" is next in watch order, it's the direct sequel to Season 1 and Season 2 picks up directly after it. So unlike most anime movies, it's 100% canon and must watch, not filler.

As messed up as it is, the story telling is incredible. It is horrifying yet somehow beautiful at the same time.
