S2 can't come soon enough y'all. My Dress-Up Darling is one of the three anime I've watched relatively recently that I went straight to the source material once I finished the season, the other two being Mushoku Tensei and Tensura. And you're reacting to all 3. ❤

I actually had a friend like Juju back when I was in highschool. We were in the same grade, and I kid you not, her little sister who was in middle school was like 2 feet taller than her. It was crazy.

Saitama is both the name of a city and a prefecture that is in north suburban Tokyo. Considering the landscapes in establishing shots I would guess that Gojo's home/shop is somewhere in the prefecture and Marin's apartment is in Saitama City. The beach they went to is Enoshima which is known as a prime fishing ground for whitebait and it's sort of the local dish. It would be about a 2 hour train trip for them.
