There are some titles we've heard of, but never actually took the time to watch. I don't think these are anime technically, they're just animated.

Owl House

Over the Garden Wall

Steven Universe

Gravity Falls

Are these shows you've heard of? Do you like em? Why / why not?

I love Over the Garden Wall, it's my yearly tradition to watch it during autumn / falltime. It's also very short, only like 2 hours total. I'm currently watching Owl House, it's pretty good but I probably wouldn't watch reactions to it or anything. I've seen Gravity Falls, very good but I'm not really looking for reactions to it either. I haven't seen Steven Universe yet.

I've heard of them but haven't watch any of them outside of like an ep or 2 of Owl House, Steven Universe, and Gravity Falls. Can't speak on any of them

Gus N

It's not on the list, but more than any of these I'd love to see reactions to another series called Infinity Train. It's more thought provoking than most western animated series imo.

AnimeDateNight

ooh infinity train has been recommended to us before. It's on the suggestions forum in discord, IIRC. can you briefly explain the premise?

Kevlar

I think Over The Garden Wall would be a fun reaction. It's also much shorter than the other series.

Gravity falls and steven universe are amazing but both of them take a while to get to their REAL plot.

Gus N

It's hard not to spoil since it is a mystery, especially season one, but I'll try, spoilers only for episode 1 below: The main character is picked up by a gigantic mysterious sci-fi-looking train that they can't leave which is traveling through a barren wasteland dimension. They want to know how to get off, why they're trapped here, what the train is, and other mysteries, as they travel from car to car with companions they meet along the way. Each train car has a different landscape, characters, theme, etc in it.

Gus N

Actually, I thought of another western animated series not on the list that would be great for reactions, assuming you haven't seen it already: Adventure Time!

More naurto wold be good you ended right before the show gets good after the forest of death they finally get to the main story

orsted

I would like “the dangers in my heart” instead, but i think gravity falls is the more interesting one from that list.
