I enjoy your reactions to Made in abyss and Re:zero, but this series has been painful because throughout the entire series Corbi is constantly getting cut off , interrupted and ideas diminished / ignored by Madison, who creates her own plot even as the story is explaining the actual plot, which comes off as painfully needing to be right or "know it all " even in light of the actual story. For example in this case: Satiama never trolls or gives a middle finger to the crowd he saves. He (as Corbi tried to explain) simply downplays his role in the defeat in order to give more cred to the efforts that all the other heroes made who arrived before him because he wants people to view heroes as a good thing. Meanwhile Madi is like He's like "this is why i fucking hate you, I'm an unreasonable bar". He's none of that and the story is even showing it as you're talking over the moment. He likes saving people likes the towns people and is simply striving to give respect to his fellow heroes. You go on to follow up with "Stop advertising!, No I think he's just rubbing it in / trolling/ having a blast with it!". Idk what persona you've created of Him but it's so strange. He is getting the people there to give Aid to the heroes who defended them instead of ignoring them. He is making sure they get respect even at the cost of his reputation. He doesn't leverage his strength or years of training in the face of anyone. This is just one example, it happens almost every single episode with this reaction series and I'm not sure why. If you ever audit these, i'm sure you'll see what i'm talking about. I enjoy your reactions to other series however.

Idk what persona you've created of Him but it's so strange.] The very first time I recall him interacting with the crowd was when he was yelling at the crowd that he didn't gaf what they thought and Genos was like "don't do that." That's what I'm referring to as why I think he lowkey hates the crowd. As far as "Idk what persona you've created of Him but it's so strange." First of all, I'm pretty sure my interpretation of Saitama is clear. Secondly, the only thing "strange" about this video is this really long content telling me I'm a know it all and that my interpretation of an anime is "strange."

Thank you for taking the time to respond. This was the buildup of sitting through so many episodes of it happening time and again, also for me, typing isn't difficult (not a dig, I'm a programmer). Yes I know the scene you are referencing, and I won't debate your interpretation of that scene, but imo it is just another example of what I stated in my first comment. None of this really matters now (as I'm sure you've seen it all) but maybe for season 2 it's better to differentiate. Saitama doesn't hate the crowd/civilians. He simply tells them that he chose to save them and if they have gripes take it out with the meteor, not him, because he isn't required to give a damn. Saitama wanted to be a hero in order to save people/help people (in case you didn't connect the dots, its because of HIM saving Chinny McChin the Kid from the crab monster that the Hero Association even got created. I think its that frame you've run with of "he lowkey hates them" that has bothered me or made you resistant to other ideas the plot is trying to convey. Anyways I didn't say you ARE a know it all. I said "comes off as painfully needing to be right or "know it all "". As I don't believe that to be your true self or intention. Anyways, I will remove that vent shortly as you've responded to it. I enjoy your chemistry, pausing to talk about scenes, and in general most reactions on series. Madi I am more opt to agree with you when you and Corbi have a disagreement on shows (IE Re:zero) and I'm not trying to be water to your flames, Here are some small improvements I've noticed that may help you going forward. 1) Some of your videos end up with desycned audio / video. 2) Some of them don't even show the video for half the episode (open this video to the 6min mark for example). 3) In general I don't think anyone minds the fan/bg noise as your microphone setup is nice. 4) You guys kill it when you piggieback off one another with ideas and thoughts. 5) Based on comments you and Corbi have made in several videos, I REALLY think you'd BOTH enjoy Black Lagoon. It hits all your plot taste Madi while moving at a rate I believe Corbi wouldn't tire of. Sorry again for another "long content" but for me, this took maybe 5minutes to write, and I'm a fan so it wasn't tedious to do so. As Ai would say, it's an expression of affection lol.
