Lilly's Reading Mistake (Paid Post #1) (Patreon)

Lilly was so excited for her costume for Halloween she wanted to be Lady Dimitrescu, the tallest of the tall characters in the Resident Evil universe. She knew that the character was huge so long ago, but she was hoping that it would mean she would be one of the few out there.

The costume came in and it was beautiful. The fabric was so soft and intricate, she loved the feeling of it on her body. And she found something that fascinated her. The costume came with instructions that were a bit smudged but she believed it told her that the costume could make her 8' and how amazing would that be!?

So she read very carefully and followed the instructions by the letter, ready to feel herself grow. She loved the idea of towering over everyone and couldn't wait to terrify them all in her costume. But she was feeling something different. Her costume was getting looser rather than tighter.

She saw things seeming to get bigger around her throughout the day. It even got to a point where she was walking around on her desktop and digging for the instructions to find out what went wrong. She smoothed them out and rubbed over the smudged bit.

Where she thought it had said “Guaranteed to make you 8' tall!” she now read in horror as it actually said, “Guaranteed to make you 8” tall!”

Her boyfriend couldn't help but laugh after he heard about her blunder, even bringing out a ruler and measuring how tall she was. She must have done things too well, because she had actually barely reached 8 cm. Half as tall as they had advertised.

She didn't care what height she was now, she just knew that she wanted to be her normal height again.
