Innocent Mary was always the prim and proper type. She never spoke back to her parents, and never stood up for herself. To call her a doormat would praise the stubbornness of doormats everywhere. But it always made her sad the way people used her and she wanted to change that.

So when Mary found the spell book in the library, she had to try something. It had a spell inside that promised to boost the confidence of the reader. That was perfect! Exactly what she was looking for!

She read the spell first silently, even putting the word into google in an attempt to translate it, but nothing came up. She was so nervous but was desperate to do something so she read it out loud.

The lights flickered and that was about it. Mary chalked it up to electrical interference. She stood up to walk away depressed that it didn't work, but then the lights went out, and Mary was all alone. She felt a tingle up the spine and a tickle in her finger tips.

Her scalped itched so much that she violently had to undo her tight bun. Her curling hair falling down her shoulders and darkening. Her flowing white dress darkening and tightening into a black latex corset. Her mind spun as she felt it changing her thoughts.

Soon she was flooded with thoughts of destruction, mainly of those who have walked over her in the past. Then soft lights started to raise, and Mary looked around and saw small candles lighting around her, opening up a witches cove around her.

Mary awoke in the body and soul of an ancient witch she had summoned with the spell in the book. No one, would ever step on her ever again!
