My most dreaded step in the modeling pipeline. I use a method I like to call semi-automatic retopology. I plan out a bunch of  important edge-loops by making strips and sections of polygroups and let ZRemesher fill in the rest. Because of the polygroups, areas that I defined retain most of their edge flow. It's not as perfect as doing the entire thing manually but it sure is a heck of a lot faster. And I think this should be more than good enough for all of my applications! The next step is to finalize the details and then prepare UV's to get him ready for texturing.

A few hours maybe. I try to spend as little time as I can with retopology since it's basically the least fun step
