I love how comfortable they are to interact with each other! I think most companies do promote a closeness culture, they might not show it as much. SM likes to do subprojects with different groups like you've seen with the song Zoo. And they have company concerts. Mark and Xuimin did a collab throu SM station which they set up to allow for musical collabs to happen more freely. For other companies, I think with such bondness between same agency groups, it was more of thing that started dying down towards the end of 3rd generation, where with the newer groups they have gotten much more stricter I feel like!

sm do like halloween party, concert, vacation, and olympic games before but no videos except for the concert the rest are very exclusive. the previous generation are very close compare to now because the only time they will interact each other was during smtown concert.

They used to be close until around 2020 and later which is when there was chaos with management. The hostile takeover in recent years of SM that practically forced Lee Sooman (founder, former CEO) and ushered his nephew in as a new head probably caused a lot of discord and issues internally.

Also, one SM group’s fan usually becomes a fan of other SM groups. Most fans will be SM stan after following one of their group. As for me, main group is EXO, and I sincerely love other SM groups too! Idk, maybe it’s because of SM water lol
