Should the two of You ever decide to watch anything from, what over the past four and a half decades, has become a bloated, cheap, and garish franchise---please watch the original "STAR WARS" 1977 (and not the fouled episode 4: a new hope/"special-edition" rereleases). If given Your permission to forward the film, and You view that edit, 1977 original theatrical, You will have watched everything in the STAR WARS' zeitgeist. One-and-done, however, if You wish I have original edits of The Empire Strikes Back 1980 and Return of the Jedi 1983 and can provide them for You. True fans consider "STAR WARS" (1977) a stand alone film not linked or associated with anything; moreover, WE do not recognize the prequels (1, 2, 3)/ "special-edition" rereleases of 4, 5, 6/ Disney's garish sequels (7, 8, 9, Solo, Rogue One, Mandalorian, Acolyte/cartoons/ books/Extended Universe).
