19x7 is very good don't stop. for this episode they explores themes of identity, acceptance, and cultural perceptions of sexuality. there is multiples layerss parental view societal view and i think the is also a connexion vithe the "shipping culture". if rewatch this episode some time you will certainly have an other view too.

btw I always saw this episode as a play on the fake dating to real dating trope. The episode starts of with Tweek and Craig being forced into a relationship but as they talk to each other they actually fall in love with each other. They follow through wit the break up but end up regretting it and try to use the original reason as an excuse to get back together because they aren't confident in the relationship to admit their true feelings but by the end of the episode they accept their feeling and start a genuine relationship. There's a bunch of romcom anime I've seen that follow this formula of fake dating to real dating, but I haven't seen a lot that involve gay relationships.

when i look at my gay friends i always just think give them money. and yaoi is basically just gay romance. the episode is about basically them believing they cant be gay because they were raised conservative in the 90's. finally they come to terms with what they feel inside when they realize everyone was proud and didnt care. its a beautiful story

Yaoi is boy love and a lot of people drew fan art ot the main characters in South Park in that style. The creators didn't want to do an episode with Kyle and Stan together so they picked the most popular South Park Yaoi that wasn't the main characters. Because of the fight episode between Tweek and Craig from long ago they were the most popular South Park Yaoi not of the main characters. All the art is real fan art that South Park asked people to submit for the episode.
