Prayer ecstasy (Patreon)

Here is a quick sketch i made on my iPad some days ago. Nuns are a recurring subject here, more in the past years, recently i've neglected my Sisters of Crucifux series, and I should add some new content to it...I like to see how often in saints' chronicles the "ecstasy" word occurs... It seems like someone found a way to give themselves some pleasures finding a way to make it acceptable and coherent with all the rest. And ecstasy theme was also a nice opportunity for a lot of artist to do something different for once, with very interesting results :D

Ecstasy of Saint Theresa - Gian Lorenzo Bernini

I bet Bernini had a good time doing this.

Here is the time lapse video of the drawing process (not Bernini's masterpiece, sorry :P ): https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/1tfve7fpij9ndgpmkbg26/Prayerecstasy.mp4?rlkey=t5qf93za7rot76on2h5hpfayo&dl=0
