"it takes a long time to care about something" on my wall immediately

i’ve been waiting for this one!!

Talking Heads mentioned, LET'S GO!!! (also the rest of it was pretty cool too)

Kareem Fofana

YES to using mutuality in pedagogy. A friend of mine is an adjunct prof, and he's been using contract grading, where students at the beginning of the year write up a contract w the prof about what constitutes an "A" (etc) for them. It's a solid way to participate in higher ed while killing some of the gross hierarchical traditionalism

also I want to write a love letter to themed parties. One of my friends went to an "after prom" party (there was no prom), where you come dressed to the nines, but like, kinda fucked up bc you supposedly just came from a nonexistent prom

This is immediately going into my art of the party syllabus and I am going to cite you and/or your friend. pls email me at pog@rice.edu with yalls info if you can oh my god that is like exactly what i have been struggling with in the self grading process. Ben Zander talks about giving your self an A, in which the students write themselves letters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTKEBygQic0 but while aesthetically beautiful and meaningful but admin doesn't like. however i think branding as a CONTRACT would be usefull and signal more responsibility and accountability. i think that language will def work better. wowowowow grateful for you and your friend <3

that is actually such. a good idea. An after party to a fictional party is crazy . and you all can tell eachother and talk about the parties you all fictionally went to aaaa

if you want to make things pretty you should shoot with multiple cameras and learn how to light stuff dynamically and get a crew I think. your videos could look so much cooler if you studied video production a little more and were willing to hire people. the zooming in and out that you constantly do would look so much juicier if it wasnt just premiere keyframes and was from different angles etc. Dignify your ideas a bit more by signaling some old-guard media polish.
