I'm guessing just ideas what could be but if he got kicked out of here he couldn't graduate high school cuz he was sent here cuz his parents but that might be my guesses idk if its true but I'm sure be prob couldn't graduate if he just left either in genreal so that's why he can't just leave maybe idk

kelly earnest

I mean barth when he told him of he keeps acting like this he will have to ask him to leave the school

Moomin

Finally!🙌🏻

kelly earnest

this is only 6 episodes in total so im guessing its pretty fast pasted cuz of only being 6 episodes but the story is really good and prob wont feel rushed though

kelly earnest

You must remember that Christianity, in all its narratives, is anti-LGBT. So when Barth says "Your God never helped me once", there's no need to ask "What happened" if you're gay. I live in a country where probably 80% of the population is still homophobic, in 2026, damn it! And that was in 1996, you can only imagine the burden Barth carries when everyone around you says that being who you are is wrong. I'm agnostic and bisexual by the way✌️

Madelyn

I’m also agnostic and queer! When he said “Your God never helped me” that really hit home

p’aof is the director and screenwriter for this. p’best is also a screenwriter. they both worked on bad buddy, moonlight chicken, and last twilight. p’aof is a gay catholic man, so we can assume he’s pulling from some of his experiences. they said that they talked w a lot of people who are catholic and/or went to seminaries and catholic schools. they also talked to priests and went to mass with the actors to familiarize themselves w the religion ((as yk thailand is majority buddhist)). they discuss a lot of their choices w editing, acting direction, and cinematography when the episodes air, i’ll try to leave some small comments (that the team has posted) as you guys watch, maybe it’ll help w understanding /clarifying certain things that come up 🤗
