"Its clever how they done it, but it's still shit" I think is a perfect summary of the simultaneous mind-f--k and heart-f--k of Hodor's fate. Part of me does wish I could see Ash's reaction to your reaction or to when you talk about it with him afterward. In my head he says something like "Game of Thrones kills off characters you a*dore*" and then tries to say something about symbolisms while you look at him like "really?" and tell him that's not funny. Then he tries to be comforting while giving a look to the camera with a bit of a grin.

Of all the deaths in Game of Thrones, Hodor's is by far the saddest. It absolutely wrecked me. Poor Willis.

a heartbreaking episode, but such an important one... btw, think of the white walkers as "generals" and the dead as their "army", they are different "species", if you will. every white walker can raise people who have died to become a part of their army. it is assumed that when you kill a white walker, then all the dead that this white walker raised, fall with them. enjoy the rest of the season, happy Easter! <3

When this dropped, we lived around 6 or more years growing up watching Hodor and then they aired this episode. The entire internet cried.

This is the 3rd, or 4th time I've seen this, and the ending cuts me every time. Hodor got me out here bawling at a rerun for fucks sake! The moment his eyes went white in the past, as Bran warged into him, I got literal chills. One partially ugly cry later, and watching the reality of how sad the ending actually was, dawn on your face in real time, Hannah, was crazy... So sad that he died, but then the creeping horror, that he was locked into that moment from childhood. And that Bran did it to him... Yeahhh this episode is a lot... Hodor.
