great reaction hannah! i’m with you that this and some other future episodes have kind of wonky build-up/ slow parts— blame it on the writers’ strike and external meddling i suppose. but it’s great to see you so enthusiastic about the story B)

the "how is he alive!" when it comes to aegon, my father was in horrific explosion most of his body burned and he looked way worse than aegon, they didnt allow me to see him for months cause i was just a kid and they didnt want it to traumatize me, it was horrible but he lived on after a year in the hospital, sometimes we can survive the worst things imaginable

2026-09-10 11:00 What happened is that Viserys never gave a shit about his kids with Alicent, so they all grew up unloved. Alicent was actually abusive toward Aegon. She was always hitting him and screaming at him that Rhaenyra was going to kill him because he has a “better claim” as the King’s eldest son. So Aegon turned to drinking as a coping mechanism, while Aemond grew bitter and jaded at their position. When you think about it, the only male figures those boys had in their lives was Otto and Criston. They never really had a chance.

love the videos but i really think you should wait to speak your mind when a scene is over or in between conversation because i feel like you miss really important things in the dialogue. Can't wait for next video

I think Sunfyre caught most of the fall for aegon, whereas when rhaenys fell, she seemingly was completely crushed by the already passed meleys. I think that is the only reason aegon was alive, him and sunfyre have one of the most special bonds in the books as well so it would make sense that sunfyre would do his best to protect his rider as he fell.

season 2 is definitely a slow season with rly high ups and rly low lows for episodes but we just gotta stay hopeful that season 3 comes before summer next year

and although it was slow, i lovve the buildup, we have to lead up to the big battle somehow! also, dont know if you have ever seen the vikings BUT it would be a great series for you to react to, check it out and see if it'd be something you enjoy. one of the ladies in that show is the perfect casting for visenya, for me personally!

Aemon wouldn't be King unless all Aegon's sons were dead as well - and I believe there is a male baby left, though not sure if the show has included all the kids yet.

Yep. It was really slow. I hate all the Damon dreams. We didn't need this many. It's just annoying now. This is why I almost didn't rewatch this season with you. Ugh. It started out so well too. But hey, we're in it now so we shall persevere until the end. Hang in there!

Hannah, it's quite easy to understand .. The Title King weighs more than the title Queen, so when a queen is rule, you can't have a King because of that power behind the title, so that's when it goes down to King Consort, which is a title Lower than King or Queen but still higher than other titles It was the same with Queen Elizabeth II, and her husband was a Prince; his title had to be lower than the title of Queen, and he couldn't take King because that overpowers the title Queen

2026-09-10 11:00 Also, I like to point out Criston Cole broke his honour long ago when you were madly in love with him. The Kingsguard has an oath of chastity he shouldn't have had sex with Rhaenyra in the first place
