One that season 1 feels short it due to the writers strike in 2007/8. It was originally going to be a 9 episode season, but the strike limited it to 7 episodes. On the bright side, the creator Vince Gilligan said that due to the strike they had time to change the story from the original plan, and the show ended up much better than it would have been.

Season 1 was aired in 2008 and im pretty sure there was a big writers strike which is why its so short.

Jesse was supposed to die at the end of the first season actually. I am not 100 percent but I believe if it wasn't shortened the entire series would have been altered and he would have in fact been killed in the season finale.

A recommendation for way in the future when you have time, I think you'd really enjoy Once Upon A Time, it's got the romance, the action, the drama, the twists and turns and I think you'd really get into it Hannah, and considering it's based on classic fairytales you already will have an idea of lots of characters from the get go xx love your Breaking bad reactions. I've been here since mid way through GOT ❤️

Maybe 2 episodes per week, in a back to back format, like they do in cinebinge and other creators would be a better fit for Breaking Bad. I don't know about genv, haven't seen it

Every word has purpose every image has purpose, it's hard to catch everything on first watch if there's something you don't understand or can't see how it fits the story just remember it and will be reconciled, it may be the next episode or the next season but it will come.
