Patreon 4x9 FULL LENGTH REACTION

Season 4 Episode 9 ‘The Watchers on the Wall ’ full length reaction. I am watching the 51 minute version on Amazon prime so ideally watching on something compatible with that version would be better. But I have also shown small snippets in the first couple of scenes to sync up, so hopefully that helps! HAPPY WATCHING GUYS!

Game of Thrones, the king of ripping hearts out, plenty more to come btw 😂

This was a hard episode to watch, especially when we know Jon loved Igrit and she loved him but she was so mad he left/betrayed her. Yes every 9th episode has been heartbreaking. Ned died S1E9, Bay of Blackwater S2E9 and S3E9 when Rob, Telisa and Catelyn Stark were killed. No Hannah your light wasn't changing throughout. Thanks for the reaction. :)

lol i never notice if the light behind you changes, too much else going on. also it’s normal to be sad about ygritte i think. we’re feeling for jon and his love for her.

First off, I hope you're going to be reacting to The Last Kingdom, or very soon! (With Ash!) Second, this one makes me so sad as well! 😢 They were a bit smaller of characters but seeing Pyp and Grenn die was always heartbreaking to me. Especially seeing how scared poor Pyp was. It just breaks my heart. They were part of the group with Jon and Sam and it just hurt to see. Ygritte's death made me cry as well and I felt the same as you. I was never a huge fan of hers. Didn't hate her but she wasn't like a favorite. She gave me a sort of neither here nor there vibe. 😆 But then she actually made me mad when she shot Jon with arrows and then on top of that all of the killing she did, although killing was normal for her people so I didn't exactly hold that against her. But I hated how she treated Jon in regards to making him choose, as though you can't care for different people in life. The whole "choose a side" mindset has never been something I agree with so that aspect annoyed me to no degree. But I could see how she avoided killing Jon, even when she shot him, and she couldn't do it during this battle either. So I had a big feeling she wouldn't and I could honestly understand her character and choices and her mindset. So I didn't truly hate her but I did start to dislike her with her actions. However, when she shot Pyp (not that she knew who he was) was the moment I genuinely got pissed off at her character and in those moments I wanted her to die. 🤣 And even with that, when she gets shot, I still cried. Her character had become a character that I couldn't care a whit for either way she went, but I cried for the heartbreak between them and that loss, and the loss of that "what could've been". They loved each other and you could feel how all of these circumstances had set them up for failure from the start and it made you wish for a different outcome and to be in a different world where they could be together. It's very emotional and nuanced so even if you dislike her you also understand her, and you understand what they're both feeling. I know that was alot of words to read 😂 but yeah it's very nuanced and there's alot to it. This show is great at making you feel multiple contradicting emotions towards people and I think that's because it shows them as such realistic characters. Just as in real life. So that's something I've always loved so much about this show.

Idk if you know this but Jon and Ygritte got married in real life. Thought this would make you feel better haha

Hannah shouting "YOU'RE MEANT TO BE EXTINCT!" at the mammoths was iconic

Xander

Hannah your reactions are so good and heart felt! what an episode!

Lina Marshall

I can’t WAIT for Hannah to react to … ugh don’t wanna spoil titles so I won’t but OMG I can’t wait for certain episodes/seasons (giddy)

Samantha Matossian

Why are we paying for her to react when we can’t hear/see the show 😕

Mike

This episode was insane. A battle that lasted an entire episode. The death of Innocence for both Jon Snow and Oly. No shame in being upset. This entire episode is powerful feelings. Love! Hate! Fear! Meant to be exhausting by the end, so you feel what they felt. A few crazy notes. !. The giant Grenn killed in the tunnel was Mag Mar Tun Dah Weg, or Mag the Mighty, the king of the giants. 2. And Alistair Thorne is a brilliant character, easy to hate but well written, and honorable, even if it's a rough sort. Unbending. Unable to change. He was sent to the wall because he was a Targaryan loyalist. He fought so well, he was given the chance to swear to King Robert, after the war was won, but he wouldn't foreswear his oath. So he's literally been at the wall since Jon's birth.

Half the friend group getting killed always hurts my heart. It's like killing Hermione, or Pippen, or Shaggy. It just hurts to break up that band of genuine friendship. But it's good writing. Your mom is so funny. Wish her happy birthday!

Can’t wait for the next one ❤️
