I think the grayscale is passed through contact with the infected skin, so if someone touched Jorahs wrist they would get it but the parts of him it hasn't spread too isn't contagious yet

I have ALLLL the empathy for you, Hannah!!! But, in Ash's defense, he knows things that you aren't privy to yet. So, I can sort of understand his reaction (even as insensitive as he is... yes, Ash... I'm glaring at you). Just remember that sometimes terribly awful things happen in Game of Thrones to progress the storyline. I PROMISE you are going to change your tune by the end of this season. All of the heartache is worth it. Lysm!!!
