Wanted to take a different approach today as I think this wisdom is something that can help anyone~ Definitely made me feel a bit better about things 😽

Hope all of you are staying strong. I'm doing my best with everything going on. I'll make an official announcement when things are 100% confirmed. Feel free to give me some advice with handling moving out, handling your own place, home tips, things to look out for, things to do, and things to consider getting for my own place. 📃

I rent an apartment and I'll say keep cleaning supplies well stocked. Never hurts to have too much to start but you don't want to run out at a critical moment. I also do meal prep for the week on weekends, keep me from eating out and getting fastfood. It's ok to treat yourself, however, I make it a once in a while thing to save up on money. Also, whenever shopping, keep an eye on sales, especially for nonperishables.

Also, I work in architecture, mostly drafting and modeling. One of the most important things when looking at a house is to ask if damage has happened to the home and for a history of repairs. Don't want any surprises. Also, if you're buying a house, hire an inspector to look over the property. It'll cost pretty penny upfront but is worth it in the long run.

Make sure to make a Budget That's the best advice I have to say about that Wishing you the best of luck on your housing arc, very proud of you, Deb.

Budget aggressively when possible. Always err on the side of caution when it comes to money. If your bills are usually 650, try to have 700. It usually wont matter, but having that extra is so handy. Look up one of those timelines people make for cleaning things like sheets and different rooms. Grocery bills hurt but damn if it isnt cheaper in the long run as opposed to eating out constantly.
