The battle continues!

I won't lie, I struggled a bit to make this feel appropriately tense, at least to me, because there isn't really much the team can do to meaningfully fight Tattlethoth that they're not already doing. How do you fight a Medea who has the Holy Grail and is learning more super kung fu with every second? You send in your Servants and find a good place to hide with lots of cover.

Hopefully, next chapter has a little more tension, and hopefully, the moments still hit the way I intended for them to for you guys.

This is it. From here, it's just two more chapters before NAET is over. What a ride.

EDIT: Moving down all the way. 1/10/2025

Wow, a very interesting fight. I wonder how that whole thing works conceptually. Lisa will surely get an increase in her ability to gather information, but I don't know where the resurrection comes from? Wasn't that Anubis's domain? As far as I understand, Thoth was the Egyptian god of wisdom, the moon, writing, the arts, science... does science account for the resurrection of corpses?

It's got more to do with Egyptian magecraft than anything else. Thoth does have underworld roles, but you're right to understand that his main one is the god of knowledge, or more accurately, "the god from which all knowledge is derived." Egyptian magecraft would therefore be something he "shared" with the people of Egypt, and Egyptian magecraft deals a lot in death, decay, and necromancy.

Hmm...curious thing...it seems that Thoth can't quite understand Shard's technology...that's quite interesting
