Editor's out sick, so this might be a little rough, but I was happy enough with how it turned out.

This chapter provided me a neat segue into a side plot to take up some of the team's time between America and Camelot, and that side plot will also let me put Taylor and Ishtar in a bit of a pressure cooker to work out their issues with each other and learn to work together. Of course, I also got to establish Ishtar's place in the power scaling, because, uh, the fact that her NP canonically only really scratched Tiamat doesn't do the fact it's an EX mountain-busting NP much justice.

I hope I managed to capture exactly how awesome it is.

Next, we catch up with Ritsuka. It's been a while since he had an interlude, and we're due for one anyway.

EDIT: Moving down all the way. 2/28/2025

Solo Living as an Autist

I mean, Ishtar really is chronically underpowered in Fate given you could argue she was one of the foundational myths of fertility, outside of the extraplanetary Olympians. You could conceivably argue every Fertility myth, idol and ideology tithes to her.

Oh, come on! I have to wait a whole week on that kind of cliffhanger!? Anyways, awesome chapter as usual.

You're really managed to nail Ishtarin VERY well, *and* give her the power that the lore claims she should have but the game mechanics don't *allow for . . .* I can't tell you how deeply I *appreciate* that - thank you! :) . . . That said, however, I'm DYING to see Rika and/or EMIYA's reaction to all of this - *especially* since the latter's been *open* about his historical connection to Rin . . .

Interesting, is an event coming up ? What date it is in-story ?

Hmm, we're between America and Camelot... that puts it about the right time for Rashomon / Onigashima. Time to recruit Sakata Kintoki?
