Taylor isn't the only one who has been missing a certain archer. As fun as Ishtar is and as much as I love Rin as a character, the dynamic the two of them had wound up being something I really enjoyed writing about. Taylor needed someone like that in her life, and as much as Olga would have liked it to be herself, Olga's a little too emotionally fragile.

Of course, he's not just a stand-up guy for Taylor, so he gets to be an important ear (and voice) for several people, especially throughout this Singularity. Ain't he just swell?
