The start of a new arc!

Here it is, the beginning of arc 5. Watch out for that timeskip, if you blink, you'll miss it.

Anyone have any guesses why it's "Sunder?"

I already gave my guess :P But if I had to give another... It would have to wait until I've read this chapter. Edit: Okay so I read the chapter and that was no help at all, so I'm just going to have to wing it. Ummm. The gulf between her and the Protectorate keeps getting wider? I.E. sundered?

Loved the ending, and it's implications. Not sure Amy will say yes, but it's still a step forward in pretty much all the right ways. Sundering inherently implies an action, since it's a verb. That's not really concrete, but I'm going to assume you meant it that way. In which case I think it most likely refers to the disruption of a 'relationship'. Highest on the list would be the Coil/Lisa one. It could involve dramatic rescue, but I think it'd more likely be just a cessation of congeniality - Coil takes off the kid gloves and stops pretending to be her employer. He must start realizing that attempts to kidnap Lisa start failing, and due to new powers. That could entice him to take Danny hostage, and start off a shit show that could literally sunder BB. Finally, the friendship with Amy could bloom in ways that increase her dissonance with New Wave. Vicky probably feels bitter about the bank, so the closer Amy gets to Taylor, the farther Vicky will drift away. Since Vicky is Amy's main anchor to her current life, that would cause some sundering too. Just some thoughts. Keep at it! But post as you need to; don't burn yourself out.

Loved it! But there was a have instead of a had in there.
