[FRW] Chapter 18: Surprise Proposition (Patreon)

There's a scene in here that I got stuck on and agonized over a little, but it's been planned for ages and it sets off more stuff later. The editor said that it felt a little edgier than usual out of context, but the circumstances of our dear protagonist prevent that scene from ending much of a different way.

I'm of a couple different minds for how a certain character's fate might play out. On the one hand, I mislike gratuitous misfortune delivered to innocent bystanders. On the other hand, there's tradition to think of. Hm...
