Not gonna bother with a preamble: I might have the dreaded thing. You know, the one that's all the rage, right now. Not 100%, so I don't want to name it until I'm sure.

I'm achy, my head feels a size too small, my nose is leaking like a sieve, and I have a cough that's probably going to get worse. My sleep is intermittent at best and nonexistent at worst.

Hopefully, this'll be over in a few days. Hadn't gotten the booster yet, but I did get the double shot of Moderna, which, if I have the thing, is probably why I don't feel worse. 

I'll get back to you guys once I'm through this. With any luck, that'll be this weekend and I can finish both the next chapter of Hereafter and the next chapter of FRW.

Bit of a bullet dodged, I think. On the one hand, the fact it's the omicron variant is probably why I'm even sick in the first place. But on the other, as breakthrough infections go, the omicron is the milder option, so while I'm not having fun, at least I'm not shackled to my bed. Or worse, a hospital bed.
