And now she really gets to show off.

Yeah, I liked this chapter. Aife got to show off some more, and I introduced one of the guys that is going to make the run on the United Empire much harder than canon was. Two, technically, but one was only namedropped.

Don't feel too bad if you didn't recognize him. I tried to give hints without being super explicit about it, even though Caesar gives part of his name at the end.

EDIT: Moving down all the way.

Solo Living as an Autist

With how quickly he went after a gorgeous woman, he is certainly chanelling the spirit. :D Lemme guess, same guy whose death marked the decline of Rome?

He's actually a canon character, he just hasn't had anything more than a flashback showing.

OW B.

This is the guy who gave Arthur (Prototype) a run for his money, right?

As always, you write very compelling fights! Great chapter! My only complaint is a minor quibble about wording. You write "the spear's tip aimed itself" when Aífe first charges Caesar and I find that sort of creates a stutter in the action, because we're following Aífe's blinding movement just before and it's suddenly the spear that takes an action; maybe leave it as "...crossing the distance in the blink of an eye, the blade of her spear aimed at Caesar's gut..."? Unless Gae Bolg has magical aiming properties outside its Noble Phantasm, in which case the present wording is completely correct (as the spear aims itself) and you ought to disregard this with my apologies. Also, Caesar implied that the aura debuffing our heroes currently is Constantine's Noble Phantasm and not his? Did I read that correctly? If so, that's damn impressive range, right there (and someone ought to let Arash know, becuase it's almost certain to affect his accuracy once the arrow flies into the affected area).
