Project Cappuccino Progress Log - 11-25-17 (Patreon)

Hey guys, Happy Thanksgiving for those of you who celebrate it! We’re bringing you another update log of what’s going on with Project Cappuccino.

Vanis - Currently Working On:

Chapter 2 Script and Dialogue Improvements - I’ve completed a small rework of the dialogue in Chapter 1. There is now some backend code that keeps track of your responses with characters and will affect branching story paths in future chapters. I am also finalizing the script for Chapter 2. There’s a few important features that will be coming with Chapter 2 down the line, including our second intractable character as well as the Shop System and a new room to use. The new chapter will definitely not be ready for the V1.03 release but we are shooting to have it implemented by V1.04.

Gender Selection - We've decided to go ahead and add Gender Selection for the player. Our patron poll showed that the majority of you guys were for this. The gender selection feature is almost completed and I believe it will be ready for the V1.03 release. There’s a couple of bugs left to squash but nothing serious or game breaking.

Dokucchi - Currently Working On:

Special CG’s - I have been drawing up some new CG’s as part of the Chapter 1 improvement. These particular CG’s are going to tie in with the Gender Selection feature that Vanis has been working on. I’ve shown a sneak peek of these in the Discord but I’ve thrown it on in here as well!

These will be included in full size in the Espresso tier art package as well. My workload has consisted of drawing nonstop!

We plan on releasing V1.03 on the first week of December. Stay tuned for more!
