Project Cappuccino - Progress Log - 1/19/18 - Animating Colette (Patreon)

Hey guys! We’ve got a better look at Colette for you this week.

Vanis:

Colette is nearing completion in terms of animations. All faces and movements are done with the exception of the breast bounce that Doku is still working on.

While waiting for the last of the artwork, I’ll be working on possibly adding a finishing animation to both Sophie and Colette in order to make the finish a little more dynamic.

Doku made Colette with more pivot points for animating, giving us a little more leeway when creating the different animation states. We’ve been able to add a few more subtle movements that will make the animation look a little more fluid. Eventually we’ll go back and update Sophie as well.

Along with this, Colette will also respond to different stages of arousal. Initially starting with her legs somewhat closed and spreading as she gets turned on.

Doku:

I’ve been working on all of Colette’s animations! Most of them are done except for the breast bounce animation that’s giving me some trouble. As you’ve seen, Colette is very petite (well, ignoring her height) and so I haven’t been able to get the right amount of bounce for her breasts.

If you’re on our Discord you may have seen one of the animation previews I posted for her. The animation there looked great!... Until we added it in-game and saw her boobs were a little too big and bouncing way too wildly for her…🤦 It’s taking a bit of fine tuning but I should be able to get it taken care of.

Once the animations are done, I’ll be working on either Colette’s dynamic cam animations, or her CGs for the start of her NSFW scene. If time allows, I’ll be cramming to finish the Shop art and do the animations for the new toy OR trying do a bit of writing to make Colette’s NSFW encounter flow well with the story. Fair warning, I don’t know if I’ll actually get to finish either of these on time for the next release, but there’s two weekends left in the month. Let’s see how much I can get done in them!
