Project Cappuccino - Progress Log 2/23/18 (Patreon)

Hey guys, checking in with you for our weekly Progress Log. February is coming to a close so this is probably our last Progress Log for the month. By this time next week we should have V1.3.0 out, so without further ado, let’s get to talking about what’s coming.

Vanis:

I’ve spent this week working on a range of different bugs pertaining to the new features being added in 1.3.0. The shop system is done and set in stone and I’ve shifted gears into working on story content for the remainder of the month. If all goes well, we should be able to add about 2 more in game days worth of story before the V1.3.0 release. This part of the story will take you outside of the Cafe! Colette is up to something and you’ll be learning some secrets about a certain red haired someone.

Also, we've got new buttons for the Cafe, Shop, Text History and Saving/Loading(For when that's implemented!)

Dokucchi:

My end has been insanely busy this past week and my work has been cut out for me. You can see above some of the stuff I've been doing aside from the live stream earlier in the week. I’m pretty happy with how the Mira Valentines piece turned out and super excited for next months poll!

Most of what we had planned for this month has already been implemented in game so at this point I’m in the process of drawing up CG’s and backgrounds for the upcoming story content that Vanis mentioned.

Sophie fans will be getting a few surprises in this build!

I’m thinking that we’ll frontload the story content next month so that we can move it along and keep it from being too neglected. A big part of our upcoming features requires the story itself being at a certain point.

Last but not least!

There will be a few changes to the Cappuccino Reward Tier! The black and white sketch that is included will now be a full color art piece instead, done in the same coloring style as the Valentines Mira. Essentially you’ll be able to pick a monthly drawing of your choosing! If this tier becomes too popular, I may have to limit the amount of patrons that can have it in the future in order to prevent an overload of work. We’ll be reaching out to Patrons in the Cappuccino tier later next week to ask what you want drawn!
