Progress Log 6/8/18 - Single Characters and Monthly Plans (Patreon)

Hello everyone! It’s time for our first Progress Log of June. Doku and I have had a rough week after both catching a severe flu right after release on the 1st. Despite this, progress has still been made on Project Cappuccino.

Vanis:

I’ve managed to get single characters working in the Apartment room that was added in the last update. 

Free Play mode will now allow you to toggle characters on or off if you wish to go into the room with only one. The Free Play menu has also received a small UI improvement but I am trying to save some space on the screen in the event we need to rearrange things in a future update.

Taking a single character into the Apartment Room will cause only a single Toy Box to load and it’s colors will adapt to the character.

Doku:

Not gonna lie, I’ve been dealing with a few health problems already so when this flu came along, it got me bad. I’ve been working on patron art requests when I can, but it’s been slow since I’ve been out of commission for a few days. (◞‸◟；) 

Once I’m back on my feet I’ll start working on the art for Cerise in Room 2! I've got some concept mock ups for her which some of you may have seen in the art package that was released this past week.

There's definitely going to be some fine tuning of these since I have to make sure it works well with the other characters poses, but I am pretty hyped up to have Cerise added. The reason for adding her to Room 2 first is that Vanis is going to go back and improve Room 1 with the new box and mechanics. It's best to not throw another character into that Room until the base functions are working.

Finally, we wanted to take a moment to talk about what we’re trying to add in this month’s update. It’s a few key things that should hopefully paint a picture of our work flow for you guys.
