Introducing Concept Corner! Let's Talk Toys! (Patreon)

Hey guys, we’ve been wanting to show you some more behind the scenes Project Cappuccino content. We spent some time brainstorming the best way to do this and finally came up with our new Concept Corner posts!

Once a month, we’ll be making a post that goes into detail on an aspect of Project Cappuccino’s development. These posts may range from game design talks to story and character developments. Eventually we plan on carrying these posts over to future titles as well.

To start, we’ll be talking about all of the toys that we have planned for the game. Some of you that have been here a while may have seen some of these a few months ago when we held a poll on which toy to add. In any case, there’s quite a few toys, some of which won’t be making it into the game or may end up being replaced by something better. Let’s get started!

 1. Blindfold

The basis of this toy is pretty straight forward. It’s more of a cosmetic item that allows you to gain the element of surprise on the girls. Equipping this toy would cause other toys to grant more pleasure due to the unexpected factor. Not knowing what’s coming next would likely be a huge turn on for girls like Cerise and Sophie.

2. Faux Nipple Piercings

Our idea with this one was to have them be some sort of magnetic nipple accessory for those that prefer their girls pierced. While Lucretia is canon pierced, the rest of the girls are not. The only way it makes sense for us to add the piercing option to all of them is to have them be clip ons. Mechanics wise, these would function similarly to the clothing pins, in which they would cause nipples to be sensitive. We’re almost 100% sure that these will end up being added to the game since it’s a simple concept that already more or less works with the clothing pins.

3. Personal Massager

We’ve all seen these marketed as a “Massager” when we really know what its for. I am not entirely sure if we’ll be going ahead with this one because of the odd type of toy it would be. It technically falls under the vag category but it’s not an insertable. If we’re talking about stationary vibrators that just drive a girl crazy, then the Bunny Dildo already fills that role. More than likely, we’ll be leaving this one for last and replacing it with something better if we can come up with it.

4. Chic Flogger

Who said bondage gear has to be all black and metal? This pink flogger would work similarly to the Egg Vibrator in which it would follow your cursor when selected and let you click to use it, punishing a girl wherever you see fit. Mechanics wise, we plan on using a sprite mask to overlay a reddish skin effect on a spot that visibly shows their skin becoming irritated the more you use it. Of course, some girls won’t be into this and over using it would lead to reduced arousal and difficulty reaching orgasm.

5. Nipple Pumps

This toy has been a bit difficult to plan since it’s likely going to cause conflict with other nipple toys. Ideally, it would let you select from 3 to 5 pressure stages. The players goal would be to find the sweet spot where a girl enjoys it without it hurting to much. Not sure if we’ll be doing anything like lactation with this but we do want to have the nipple visibly stretch out into it as you increase the pressure on them. Removing these would also leave the nipples in a sensitive state and increase pleasure from toys such as the Egg Vibrator.

6. Ring Gag

Another simple concept. This toy would be a variant of the current Ball Gag. The main difference being that this one would have an increased drool effect since there isn’t really anything there to stop a girl from making a huge mess. 

7. The Tentacles

We wouldn’t be worthy of the name Tentakero if we didn’t include some kind of tentacle themed toy now would we? Originally these were designed as 3 different variants for different places. Vaginal, Anal and Mouth. Realistically, we’ll probably end up picking a single color and giving the option of using it in 3 different holes regardless, kind of how the rope can be used on legs, arms or breasts. These tentacles would be an end game toy that probably gives triple the amount of pleasure that a penis or standard dildo would and their price tag would be much higher.

That about covers all of the toys we have planned for Project Cappuccino. Some will end up making the cut while others won’t.
