Progress Log 7/9/21 - Free Play Mode + Hazel and Rua in New Scene (Patreon)

We're fast approaching a build release for Crystal Road! Here is what we've been up to recently.

New NSFW Scene is going to include Hazel and Rua.

Doku was able to fast-track the addition of Hazel and Rua to the new NSFW scene we added for Kaneko.

Fondling at the Inn will be available for all 3 current characters in the next build release!

Completion Screen

The new scene also brings a completion screen that will give players a breakdown of how well they did. 

It’s mostly for show now but it will later grant the scene rewards like increased standing and the crystal currency.

Free Play Mode Added

FREE PLAY MODE IS BACK BABY.

It’s going to function pretty much the same way that Project Cappuccino’s Free Play Mode did. You go in, pick a character, pick a scene and get to the action. The only difference is that we’re going to allow players to edit their character’s appearance in this menu later on. At the moment, it only allows selecting the newest “Fondling at the Inn” scene.

And now, on to Project Cappuccino 2 news.

Smooth Sliders + Discipline Stat

I’ve been working on something similar in this game too.

This menu is going to be the character selection screen where you pick who’s route you’re going to be playing.

The discipline stat has been added and will affect how efficient the girls are at gaining the other stats such as lust and endurance. Discipline can be raised via punishing them, but too much punishment will lower mood and will require a careful balance of punish vs reward.

Bark Text for Dialogue

We’ve also been setting up a barking text system in both games that allows NPCs to talk to players during scenes.

Toys like the ball gag will interrupt this and it’s mostly meant to be a way of indicating if the player is doing something right or wrong.

Yani’s Theme Completed

Last but not least, Yani’s theme is completed! You can listen to it here. 

The rat girl’s theme is chaotic and upbeat in order to reflect her messy personality.
