Progress Log 8/21/21 - Romance is next! New Character in the works! (Patreon)

We’re back with another progress log! A good chunk of this week has been spent on Project Cappuccino 2 work. However, we do have some Crystal Road news too.

Poll Results, Focusing on Romancing System Next, going into Planning Phase

You guys voted and it looks like we’ll be prioritizing the NPC romancing/standing systems next.

There’s some planning to do with the mechanics behind this, however, it will also likely include a new NSFW scene, since that was the second most voted choice.

The pose for it will probably be this one that Doku did the other day on stream since it lends itself well to a romantic setting.

New Character Sketch, Farming Livestock Character named June.

We’ve also got a concept sketch of the next NPC!

Introducing June!

Her role will be to sell the player livestock and possibly some farming equipment. She’s still in the concept stage so some things may still change, however, we do want to keep her pet chicken.

Michi is currently working on her theme song so we’ll probably have that ready by the next progress log.

UI Progress

There’s been some work done with the UI programming for Project Cappuccino 2.

This is pretty much the ToyBox system from Capp 1 but new and improved! (The code is much cleaner and versatile this time around.) Plus, it can be hidden when not in use to allow the player to see more of the scene.

Code from this system is going to be flexed over to Crystal Road too so that we can better organize the toys in that game.

Next Character to get scenes after Rosaria is Yani.

Once these initial scenes for Rosaria are complete, we’ll be giving Yani some attention. Ideally, we’d like to launch the first build with the first chapter of one character, but Doku is a bit ahead of the programming side of things so she’s cutting down on that side of the work.

Her first sex scene will be a messy doggy style pose, which fits her character. Though we do still need to think about what would count as a reward or punishment for her. Maybe she'd hate having to take a shower? Sexy shower mini game?

That’s all for now!
