We’ve been a bit overwhelmed recently with some stuff IRL so this progress log is a little smaller than usual.

Roadmap Update

We’re doing our best to keep on track with our Road Map. If we continue the pace we’re at, we should be able to complete the Spring 2022 block at some point between May and June.

If we manage to do so, then we’ll assess our progress and see if it’s possible to release the game on Early Access. We’ll need to be sure that it’s enough content to do so. In any case, the only things left to do are setup the hand holding mini game, the rhythm mini game and the story content for Chapter 1 and 2. (Which might get merged into one bigger chapter depending on how things go.)

Stamina and Climax Bars Simplified - Reduced UI Space

Stamina and Climax meters will now be standard in all training scenes.

They are now located under the rating meter in the top left. Here’s some info on how those stats work!

Stamina: Actions or Toys used on a succubus will gradually consume stamina. When stamina is gone, then the succubus will no longer gain any further stats from that training session. Stamina is meant to be a sort of soft cap that prevents players from maxing out a succubus’ stats in a single session. We do plan for max stamina to increase along with a succubus’ endurance stat.

Climax: This bar functions similarly to how it did in Project Cappuccino 1. Using toys will increase the bar depending on a value that the toys have. Not using any toys or using toys that don’t contribute towards a climax, will allow the bar to decay over time. However, maxing the bar will lock it at maximum and enable “Climax Actions”.

Overworld Map Progress

Doku’s been working on the overworld map to replace the black screen we have at the moment. We’re trying two different approaches. One would be to hand draw the entire map, which Doku is struggling with a bit.

The other is to create a simplified 3D overworld view and have locations be clickable and in modular pieces. The idea behind this one is to do something like the Shin Megami Tensei games where the overworld is used simply to move between locations.

We do think that those games have too much of a sterile look on their maps though, so we're seeing what works best for us.

That’s all we got for now,
