Progress Log 3/23/23 - New Mana Scene, UI Improvements, Finalizing The Save System (Patreon)

We’re now well into the second half of March and it’s time for our second progress log of the month. Here’s what we’ve been working on recently!

Mana’s Cow Girl Scene

Doku has completed her side of the work for the new NSFW scene that’s coming.

This scene will take place in the succubus quarters and the gray background will change depending on which character you take in. Most nipple toys will be supported with the exception of a few bulky ones. We'll be sure to make the thrusting animation look good!

UI Improvements

Some major improvements have been made to the settings menu and the character selection menu as part of the save system implementation.

The settings now features character artwork. At the moment, it’s only going to show Rosaria, but will later switch to whatever character’s route you’re playing when we have artwork for them.

The slapped together overlay that we had in the last build is gone and the character select menu now has a much cleaner UI for selecting a file slot.

Finalizing Save System

The save system is close to being 100% done! Most of the issues from last build have been resolved and it’s down to just polishing and incorporating the last few things such as high score saving from the rhythm game, and text history saving.

There's been a good chunk of code fixing in the back-end but unfortunately we don't have any cool gifs of me crying at my desk for hours on end. Just trust us on that one.

What’s Next?

Doku will soon begin working on some missing backgrounds for Yani’s route so that we can have the game nice and polished up in time for Hentai Expo. Hopefully we’ll be able to get lots of new eyes on us!
