[ newsletter ] Where to publish next? ASMR Poll results (Patreon)

Hello! It’s Memoria. Thank you for your support for your Mommy Maid <3!

Did you remember about this poll? I asked about this weeks ago, because of the events on Youtube, I asked about what I should do about the next ASMR…

Here are the combined results from 18 votes!

22.22% Yes, upload it on a different channel.

22.22% No, upload it on the same channel.

33.33% No, don’t upload to Youtube for now.

My take on certain social media platforms…

You helped convince me not to upload to Youtube! It is currently risky. I actually heard of another ASMRtist terminated from the platform yesterday, too…

For Youtube, I’m still uncertain how I’d return there. I might have to do very, very short snippets (1+ min), but I know listeners on Youtube don’t really like THAT short ASMR, so the algorithm/general audience might not like it and would affect reach…

I recently uploaded a long teaser onto X! but I’m considering making it shorter but… it’s honestly more work trying to clip a smaller portion if I can just already work on the next.

Also as you may already know... I now publish on RPLAY and here on my support sites (where you are)!

How about distribution to Spotify, Apple Music, and more?

I’m also thinking of distributing longer duration than teasers free ASMR on Spotify and more, but unlike Youtube, the upload has a cost from me.

Distribution platforms that I found are LANDR, RedBubble, Soundrop, Symphonic and Emubands. I still need to do more research! The genre from what I found has to be Spoken Word or Podcast though!

Still, I don’t want to “waste” money there and bleed finances, so I want to still study how many listens do I need to at least break even using each distributor, among other factors like reliability, features and such…

This has been in the back of my mind even before the recent issues with Youtube popped up, but I haven’t gotten around to it again in a long while. I even got to talk with LANDR customer service years ago to confirm if they do distribution for ASMR!

Have you listened to this weekend's ASMR yet? I hope you enjoyed season 1 of Yakuza Stepmommy!
