wow i finally wrote something. it's been a long time.

partly inspired by Detroit: Become Human (obviously).

sorry there's been a longer gap than usual between releases. i'm between homes right now, currently living with my sister, and so finding space and time to record is proving difficult. thanks for your patience. hopefully won't be long before i've got a place of my own again.

1. The glitchy robotic talk in the beginning was WONDERFUL, especially the "AAAAA" bits, as well as all the little robotic sounds and clicks and whirs. 2. Your acting in this is *incredible*, the way your voice cracked when he said "for your own safety", he sounded so *miserable*. 3. The crunch and sizzling sounds when his arm was damaged made me cringe for him so hard, aaagh. 4. I mentioned before that Safe Mode Voice and Actual Voice were really interesting in the text, and it's AMAZING hearing it in audio. 5. Listening to him realise it's been *twelve years*, the horrified giddy laughing, oh god my *heart*. 6. "I was getting shopping for the family that owned me." is such a brutal line. 7. I love the part describing all his mismatched parts. 8. I like his attention to the words he uses--correcting how he used "family", calling himself a freak, using "kill" instead of "shut down". 9. I wonder if some of the *non*-deviant androids are still trying to act on their old directives after they wake up--the need to deliver things or build things or guard things, and they're in a future where they *can't* because their jobs or their humans don't exist anymore. Oh, that's hideous. 10. His outrage and gradual deflation into dull misery at having to pick between two shit things is *heartbreaking*. I love that he sees it's hard for us too. 11. Bless you for letting us give him a hug.

This is so good!! Love the characterization when he's switched to Safe-Mode, very terrifying. I also love how you discuss the idea of Androids being forcibly turned Deviant and how that might effect someones psyche and how it might be a bad or good thing ... Unlike a *certain* game..

Ohhh this one is fun! Got spooked by the jumble of words in the beginning and when our android friend woke up from safe mode for the first time and was freaking out, great job at conveying his distress/fear, really made him feel like a cornered animal

Autoplay caught me out at the end. "I'll come and talk to you tomorrow. Thank you," he said. There was an act-break like silence, followed by clanking sounds, a knock on the door and "Pardon my intrusion, your radiance." "Huh," I thought, "that's weird and formal given the gravity of the prior conversation but as honorifics go, I like it." Then it clicked. I'd moved on to the first of the recent royal protector audios 😂 I'm so pleased you're writing again! This is fantastic and some wonderful voice acting. I hope you get settled soon, there's nothing worse than being between places.
