hey my loves! here's a far too long ramble about the history of the channel, and an update on how it's doing now.

i've spoken before a bunch of times about how i got into this, and maybe even recorded something like this before as part of some other update/ramble, but i wanted to make a DEFINITIVE one, so that's what this is. i look at a few stats and things, talk about my history with ASMR and employment and all sorts. i hope it's interesting. if not, i hope it gets you off to sleep.

i also recorded that improvised roleplay i talked about - or part of it. it was a bit of a failed experiment 😅😅😅 but nonetheless, i have uploaded it here!! enjoy. maybe.

love u,phas 💖

edit!!! i said in the audio that i would give u a link to a really old audio of mine that's unlisted, the first thing i ever uploaded. i forgot to do that!! so here it is now https://youtu.be/WD5lIO6luN8

Cool story bro. Drew a picture while you talked, hope you don't mind. Happy to see ya thriving.

If it's any consolation, I enjoyed the 45 minute ramble with the history and such. You did just randomly pop up when I was looking for tingly ASMR videos to help me sleep, and you're kind of my introduction to this new genre of not-ASMR (I've had zero tingles so far, but you do still help me sleep). I look forward to future audios 😊

I sure hope you read this comment, Phas!!! I really enjoyed this audio. Hearing your history and how you came to do asmr was really interesting. It really struck a cord with me because I'm currently dealing with the same situation, where I have been diagnosed with severe anxiety and it has caused a lot of problems with work. Thankfully I can work from home temporarily, but that feeling of dread and the emotion that goes with it when facing going into the office, it's horrible. Thank you for sharing that. It's nice to know someone else has struggled with it too, and it isn't just me. Omg I didn't realize when I subbed and joined patreon, it was so early! It was the beginning of December 🥰 wow. Its been 6 months! I know you knew I was around cause you remembered butchering my name 😂 aww I loved the vampire finding a cure series!!!! I'm so happy to hear that your channel is doing well! You'll always have my support. Your audios are fantastic, your streams...omg they're a riot 😂 you're an amazing creator. Thinks for all that you do!!

How dare you make me feel things? 😭💕🫂 I'm so glad to be part of the reason you're able to live your best life; you deserve to thrive, not just survive. Thank you for sharing so much with us. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad I found you & the community of wonderful gremlins you've attracted on discord. Love you, man 💕

A lot of this resonates with me as someone who also has ADHD, and has been through some bad mental health spella. I'm glad you ended up being so frank, I loved hearing how you came to do what you do. I'm glad I decided to subscribe, because its been worth every cent. I intend to stick around and see how you grow, see how the community grows as one weird family, and how you evolve as an artist ❤

You eloquently articulated the adhd journey so well. "I’m just lazy”. The imprisonment and dread of full time careers that benefit others. Glad you received some guidance on the fact that wasn’t true. Also, thank you for sharing your vulnerable states. And, love the long rambles. Never a waste of time. You’ll get that silver plaque.

I can understand why the Vampire video would attract so many viewers to the yard. It's unbelievably charming and incredibly relaxing. It was also the first video of yours that I stumbled upon. I have no idea how I ended up being recommended to the touch-starved Vampire, but there it was one morning, waiting for me. Normally, I tend to avoid vampire concepts since not many people can execute them well. However, I'm thrilled that I decided to give it a listen. And then you released the werewolf video... it was simply amazing. On another note, I can't usually enjoy traditional ASMR. They often grate on my nerves. However, a few years ago, I discovered that I get that tingly, shivery feeling from certain tones of voices while listening to a horror narrator. I hope that makes sense. Your voice is particularly beautiful to listen to while I enjoy my morning coffee before starting work. Now it's time for my second cup of coffee, and I'll begin working on a new chapter!

Phas, your rambles are real and endearing. Thank you for sharing.

Hi, I'm new here & have been loving your audios. Also, it's nice to hear some of the reality aside from your voice acting. It makes me love it all the more to be a supporter. Thanks so much! xx

Oh to have been an early adopter and supported you from the start! I just discovered this type of ASMR format, and am so thankful for all of you wonderful and brave creators willing to put your work out there for us. ❤️. This was a fantastic overview of your history so, thank you so much for this insight into your background. I did have one question, you mention a Discord channel here, is that still a thing, or no longer? Thank you again! ❤️❤️❤️

new patron here and I actually really loved this ramble!! It was nice to hear a bit about you as a person :3 thank you for sharing your journey with us - i’m so happy to finally be actively supporting you as you do me with your audios ♡

Another new person, chiming in to say hi and that I appreciate you sharing this. I can relate in regards to ADHD and the abject pain of feeling trapped in more rigid jobs/schedules. I was diagnosed well into adulthood, and it's been so clarifying, yet makes me wonder how life has been different if mine had been identified sooner. Interesting to hear a bit of context about your channel. I feel like there's gotta be a correlation between ADHD and ASMR experiences.

Phas! I'm glad to have stumbled across your content and your community. I feel blessed to be able to show my support for your work. The heart and soul that you put into everything around here really shines through, even in these rambles. Maybe especially in the rambles. Thank you for sharing your struggles, and your successes with us. Wishing you all the best.

Honestly, I'm so glad that I stumbled across your content one night while I was feeling down (it was the Astarion one, on youtube, I believe), luck hadn't been on my side lately, but honestly, finding your content has helped me deeply. Listening to this, genuinely, as someone with Autism and ADD, it gives me a sort of hope for my own future, knowing that I'm not alone in feeling trapped in an essentially dead end job doing something I can do, but don't necessarily enjoy. I hope I can afford to stay a patron for as long as possible, but even if I can't, your content will have helped me immeasurably and I hope you continue to make content for a long while, so long as your enjoying it, of course. Long story short, thank you for existing, Phas 💖

The adhd and anxiety side of this audio had got me bawling 😭 I've been following your YouTube and just joined patreon, so I wasn't expecting to relate too hard and bawl like a baby to one of the first audios I've listened to lol but uh.. ya, your struggles with working because of adhd and anxiety got to me. Rn I'm trying to figure out what to do because I also added Agoraphobia and work related PTSD from Covid and haven't been able to work, so I'm trying to make a "laundry list" of disorders I have and request disability and having an aid as well as service dog for the rest of my issues, bum so scared of rejection I haven't started lol anyway I'm relieved you figured yours out and it works for you. I'm also just relieved to find someone who went through what I'm going through now (a bit diffently) and that it worked out. Sadly though, where I live, there is no mental heath medical leave or days off where I live so I've lost a looooooot of jobs, and now I try to door dash... rarely lol

I know this video is a year old, but I just listened to it for the first time. The stuff you said about feeling like shit in your old career hit a little too close to home, I was tearing up, lol. I really get that and I'm so, so happy to hear that you get to do what makes you happy now. Your audios are often a way for me to escape reality for a bit. I enjoy the spicy ones, but honestly the whole thing around that is what keeps me here. Also, I did subscribe to your Patreon because of the Vampire audio, haha. BUT my first video of yours what the Elf Ranger one - I was immediately hooked. 🙈 Best wishes to the future of your channel/Patreon. I'm really hoping that it continues to do better and better, and that you get to do exactly what you wish for!

Thank YOU for sharing your work with us and a part of your soul. I'm so happy that you found the life you wanted (I am also a creative ND person working in an office job,and heavily relate to the feelings you described), that your channel is doing well and I hope it continues to grow! Just for your stats in case this is of interest - I came here through your Gale RPs! I wonder if you had an uptick of supporters through your BG3 and DnD inspired content, cus that must be a massive hook! Anyway. Thank you and take care 👏🏻

Pocarichan08

You did not waste my time :) I listened to it while painting. I found you through the Halsin one! As I'm playing bg3 I wanted some related asmr, and yours was some of the only ones that actually made sense!
