The missing village and the dangerous bear… (Patreon)

This adventurer guy just heard that the people from the nearby village are all gone missing in one night! This is not normal, not even a trace to see of what happened, not really, there’s one trace left to see, just one, a footprint that seems to be… Seems to be a bear’s footprint, did the bear attacked the village? But there’s no trace of fighting or people getting hurt to see, what could happened here…

Just then, there’s a report that someone saw a monster called Giga bear, a humanoid bear, huh, could he be the one behind the missing people? He’s a bear so these footprints can be his but even if it is not a regular bear but a humanoid bear, it should leave some sign of fighting or something, right? This can’t be right… But that Giga bear is the only clue he got so the adventurer decided to hunt him down…

But during his journey, he starting to notice the forest around him getting bigger and bigger, wait, not that, he just getting smaller, he shrunk, or rather, someone shrunk him! What is this!? Did someone targeting him?

Turned out, the one who shrunk him is this big bear! Oh, so this one can use a magic huh, a shrinking magic too, to add to the point… Wait, but then it means this shrunk might shrunk people in that village, right? That’s why there’s no trace of fighting because he just shrunk them to be an easy target! Told me, vile bear, what did you do with the villagers, where are they now? Did you eat them already or…?

But the bear told him he didn’t do anything much, the villagers are all fine as he just relocated them to their new home… New home, you said? Where could this new home be? Oh, you want to see the place, let me take your there, little guy!

And the poor adventurer passed out for a moment… When he woke up, some of the missing villagers are the one who woke him, but the bear is nowhere to be seen, where are we? The villagers seems to have a hard time to answer but turned out, they’re right now living in a new area, the area where the bear shrunk and keeping them, it called… Bear toe valley… Oops, so that’s where…

Oh well, nothing he can do much, the villagers will soon took him deeper to this Toe valley where the settlement of the missing people are and the adventurer will just have to give up on escape the place and start living in there… Oh well, at least you tried, and I don’t think living in the bear’s toe can be that bad, right?
