Yup, it’s him again! This is your favorite tanuki character, it’s Tom Nook from Animal Crossing Series! Do you like him, right? What? While he might have been working hard in the actual game but in my version, I think he is a bit... Off? If that’s the right word, because, you know, if you rent a house from him and can’t pay him directly, he actually got an alternate option for you to do in order to stay in your house, but this alternate option is a bit extreme if you asked me and not for the weak people but hey, if you really can’t pay him but also didn’t want to lost your home, you can’t help but will have to go with this option, and you probably already prepared beforehand, right?

What is this alternate option you asked? Simple! You know Tanuki are kind of famous with the folktales about how big their thing can be, eh? Sadly, Tom Nook is not that big on his own but it’s not like he didn’t have a trick or two, he can add people inside, in order to make it bigger, that’s right! An alternate option to get your house is to stay with Tom Nook as his… Thing, there! For example, staying as Tom Nook’s thing for week will earn you like, 2-3 months to stay in the house, the longer you becomes his, the longer you can stay, simple enough, eh? But there’s one downside about this, if you decided to go with this, you can’t stop until your timer run out, like, if you pick to go for 2 years, you have to wait for 2 years to turn back, no stopping at first year, it’s not even the in tanuki’s control at this point, it’s just how his magic works!

And also there’s more bad news… If Tom Nook ended up playing too much with you in your new form, there’s a limited number there, if he go beyond that number, you will stuck as what you becomes forever with no turning back or some kind of cure, so if you go for this place, better make it at least short enough or try not to let Tom Nook playing with you too much!

As for this guy in the comic here you asked? He is lucky that Tom Nook kind of lost his interest after a while and kind of forgot about having this guy fused with him so Tom Nook didn’t teasing or playing with him too much, still, Tom Nook been doing his own thing regularly, and sadly, he decided to do it one last time right before the contract end but it happened to be the final time said in the limited number too so… Big oops here! Permanent stay, I guess?
