One spell that can turn the table around! (Patreon)

If you’re a hero that was tasked to go on a big quest, like, saving the world from the big bad evil or rescue the princess of the land, what do you think you can do to prepare to handle such a task like those examples? Gathering your experience to make sure you are ten levels above the enemy you are facing? LOL!!! Why I’m treating everything like it is a video game, probably because so many Isekai story are often came with statues screen even if they are really not fit with the plot, like, if you Isekai or stuck in a game, sure, but just a basic fantasy world that not link with any games out there but still with statue screen? Ugh, talk about an odd idea but when one people are doing it, we are doing the same, even me, so I am in no position to complain… Wait!!! I am out of the topic here, back to the story!

A new group of hero was sent out to defeat the dark lord but before they can reach that dark lord guy, they will have to fight through so many loyal minions of that said dark lord, like this kobold guy for example, he’s one of the gatekeepers, not an important gate but still, to reach one step closer to the dark lord, you will have to face him, and they are already arrived, just a while ago, to defeat this kobold and move on but… If so, where are they now, the kobold is still here safe too, it seems…

One thing to note, this hero group are not that strong but they prepared an ace card to play, what did they prepare? Well, one of them, the mage, can use a powerful shrinking spell, unable to reverse or cure, and with that, they just spamming it to the enemies and step on them to end the job, do you think it is cheating? Well, kind of, but villains are not playing fair or the hero can go dirty from time to time to, right?

But putting too much hope for just one trick for the amount of times, it will reach the point where thing will gone wrong, like this time, they was about to use the spell on the kobold but they messed up and the one who shrunk are them, not the kobold, oh, right, this spell once active, the target will not only getting smaller, they’ll be unable to use any other powers or spell if they got one too, so, when they shrunk, they can’t cast more of this spell to the other, can’t cure too, since it is uncurable from the start… See? Should just relying on a better method to win… Oh well… Guess it’s too late for them now…

One of the monster guards, this dog guy, friend of the kobold, heard that the heroes are on their way to his friend, he quickly rushed to aid him but the kobold already deal with the tiny heroes, he didn’t step on them, he got a way more fun idea to toy with them, can’t just end it way too quick after all…

Where did he put them in? Well, if you asked him, he’ll just point to that, a good place, don’t you think? Cave of wonder, something only a scaly creature like him got, you know, like lizard or a kobold XD!!! Hope the hero will like that place, since they’ll be stuck there for a long ride, like it or not!
