The mercenary guy and the resistance camp! (Patreon)

Oh wow, we’re going for a classic fantasy world setting here, eh? We got a resistance group meaning we are going to see some kind of evil ruler or big kingdom taking over the land or something, that’s why people from small lands grouping up and try to take down this evil and bring the peace back to the land, something like that, right? Yup! Something like that! I’ll run down the whole setting here, simple version is, in a land where many kingdoms used to live on their own, might contract each other for some stuff but not going ill at each other or anything like that, but one day, a king from the big empire kingdom somehow be like “Not big enough” and started attacking small kingdoms, making them join under them or they all will be gone from the map, doing so, this empire kingdom growing bigger and bigger, at one point, some people thought this land will ended up having just one kingdom, all belongs to this empire kingdom…  Of course, not all people are happy, but this empire kingdom was already big and super strong from the start, trying to fight them is not an easy task and as they growing bigger and bigger, the chance to win is even getting smaller and small as this empire kingdom growing… Ugh, this is bad…

Side note, not all kingdoms are not happy, some are more than happy to join, you know, the try who decided to licking boots just to make sure they’ll be okay, yeah, in the fantasy setting like this, we always got this kind of character, but that not important here…! Just a fun side note, that’s it! If you wonder why not all other kingdoms just join and fight this empire kingdom, like 50 vs 1, sadly, not all are that in the mood to fight, more like, a mood to lick boot and save themselves…

But as the title said, we got some people calling themselves the Resistance group here, they’re people who lost their home as they refused to join under this empire kingdom or their kingdom got destroyed, the survivors formed a group and trying to fight back, planning hard as they can, can’t just go at the front door and fight, would be too stupid to do so… There’s a rumor the leader of this group is a princess from the kingdom that got destroy even the official news said she passed away in the fight before the kingdom fall not long after… Wait, why it sounds like some movie or game I used to watch or play, what is it call again…? Oh well! Enough for the setting! Let’s go to the main story that happened in the comic here!

The evil king is fully aware about the Resistance group, and recently, he heard there’s a camp not far from here where the Resistance members are gathering for some kind of plan they are going to pull soon, but he didn’t seem to worry that much, he didn’t even send a soldier to check, instead, he just hire some mercenaries to go there, wait, why not use your own soldier for this!? Mercenary is only do it for cash, if the Resistance somehow turned them into ally, this will go badly, don’t you think? But the king is pretty sure this is the right decision, these Resistance group is not waste their time… At least this group, those that camping not far, hmm, why he taking the Resistance group so lightly? When asked, he just said they’re too small to care… Wow, talk about rude…

But as things turned out, this Resistance group is… REALLY SMALL!!! Probably not all of them but they sent the smaller one here for some sneaky mission stuff, too small to notice, something like that… But sadly, they got discovered anyway and for someone this weak and small, the mercenary guy who found the Resistance group is not in the mood to help, guess he’ll just get rid of them all so he can get reward from the king then…

They got a little problem trying to find a way to prove the king they really did the job but I guess all they will have to do is lift his paw up… Ha!
