Seems like back in a lot of my hero-theme picture and comic, the hero character always facing something big for their little size, you know, the chosen hero in the end is just a human with heavenly power giving or something like that but if you just going to tossing that hero to fight a 100 meters monster or something, that would be a bit… Would be a bit too hard on the poor chosen hero person, right? At least if you going to tell them to fight a lot of giants, giving them a giant slaying sword, a giant robot or something like that to match the giants they have to face! And that’s why, this time, the chosen hero is not going to fight alone, the people from above granting the hero a powerful and big ally! This is the guardian beast, a big dog guy, sending for a chosen hero! What a big dog guy and this will sure aiding the chosen hero a lot, right?

Well, if only things can be that easy… This dog turned out to be a bit… He’s not sure if the tiny guy in front of him is really a hero, he’s a bit too big and the chosen hero is too small, he is not sure, what if some random guy or a bad guy pretending to be a hero to use his power in a wrong way? He’ll not accept this chosen hero as his new master until he can make sure this small guy in front of him is really a hero! Well… Fair point, but how are you going to make sure if the one in front of you is a real deal or not? Is there anyway way to prove it?

Well, there’s a way! This dog is good at tasting things, you know? They said a chosen hero is the one granted a power from heaven so if he can taste some heavenly aura from the guy, it means he’s a real hero! This will be a bit sticky but here you go! Just a little lick, bear with it! One lick and… Hmmm, taste heavenly alright… But just one is not enough, just one more, to really make sure, okay? But this time when the big dog guy licking the hero, the hero ended up stick on the tongue and enter this dog’s mouth, and the dog continue tasting the hero more and more, heavenly taste sure making him feel like home, he’s a beast from heaven after all, he can’t stop, so much, so tasty!!! And without thinking, he ended up swallowing the hero whole! Oh no! What are you doing, you are here to supporting the hero, not eating him but it’s was too late when he realized his mistake… The hero is just his food now…

And to be an insult to him, the moment he swallowed the chosen hero, he’s no longer able to call or being a heavenly guardian beast anymore, he grew a horn on his head and his tattoo on the forehead turned from winged into skull, meaning he is now just a deadly beast, something awful that not deserved to be in heaven anymore… Oops! Maybe sending a chosen hero some big guy to help is not a good idea after all it seems, trying to cling to others power is no good, maybe they should just make sure the chosen hero is strong enough to handle everything with his own? That’s the option, better than sending help and ended up like this anyway… Anyway! Hope this dog doing fine later on, good luck!
