One little quest that turned into something unexpected! (Patreon)

We got another situation happened in a world where people in trouble will turn to no one but the adventurers from adventurer guild to help, in a form of quest, you know, like if some lazy guy don’t want to cut a wood by himself, he can just making a quest, asking adventurers to gathering log of woods for him instead, easy, right? And of course, the lazy guy have to prepared the rewards that good enough too, otherwise, no one going to do a quest for you if your rewards is not good enough…

Anyway, in this case, this town have been getting a trouble from a dragon that regularly attacking the town so they make a quest, asking for someone who can deal with this to show up and help, saying they don’t want to get attack by a dragon again, at first, they expected a dragon slayer guy or something to show up but instead, this mage bear guy came, saying he didn’t know much about dragon, of course he even defeat one either, wait, then why are you here? Well, the request said the town just don’t want to get attack by a dragon again, it didn’t say he have to kill the dragon, right? So, technically, there’s a lot of ways for this, like making a strong barrier so the dragon can’t lay a finger on the town, or making the town invisible for example… But this bear got a better idea here, and what is it, you ask? Well…

Turned out, the bear’s method is to shrinking the whole town down and put it into a small bottle, I mean, if the whole town shrunk this tiny and he keeping it in the bottle, that dragon can’t attack the town anymore, right? So, you know…? Technically, he cleared the quest, he did what they asked for, but of course the whole town folks are not going to just nod and accept this, they said they’ll not give the bear a reward, what reward? He got one right here, a cute tiny town in a bottle that he will keep and toying with it, right? Ha! Look like the bear is not a good person after all, he might even aim this from the start, didn’t even care much about a dragon, he just wants a tiny town…

But all the town folks here are turned out to be a quick people to adapting a new thing so fast, the bear was expecting the people in the town to yell at him, demanding to be free or begging to be let out but instead, not long, the town starting to praise him, calling him a savior, a master, a ruler, even calling him a deity or something like that, wow, that’s new but the bear is cool with it, and with a little surprised, not too long since then, the town build a big (As big as they can in that size) golden statue of him, something that the people will gathering around and worshipping him like a real deity, wow! This town is better than the bear was expected, he just wants a little toy to kill his boredom but he got himself a little town that actually worshipping him not reject him, well, I guess if both sides are happy, this can be call as good ending, right?
